Today was a chill day for (Y/n). He didn't have work today but unfortunately Jenna did, so they couldn't hang out, much to (Y/n)'s displeasure.
"What are you going to do today?" Jenna asked curiously as they both got ready. (Y/n) was sliding his jeans on as Jenna was finishing a layer of light makeup.
"I dunno." He shrugged. "Probably go get lunch or something. Or go live on instagram. I don't know, there's a lot of choices"
"Well, don't forget we're meeting my family for dinner tonight." Jenna reminded him. "Where are we going?" He asked. He had indeed forgotten about it. "They said they wanted to go to the Chinese place we went to last time they were here." Jenna responded while applying her lipstick. "Oh, cool. Are all of the Ortegas here?" He followed up. "Yep." She nodded.
Jenna quickly rushed out of the apartment in order to make it to work on time. "Well, what now?" (Y/n) whispered to himself as he stood in the almost empty apartment.
(Y/n) settled on the couch and turned on Netflix to binge watch suits. He had been meaning to watch it but he never quite had the time.
The next hour and a half were spent on the couch with the Tv on. After that (Y/n) got bored and let out a yawn. He stood up and fixed his hair before turning the Tv off.
After browsing the kitchen for food, (Y/n) decided to go out for lunch. He got in the car and drove around the neighborhood until he found something suitable. Taco Bell.
(Y/n) slid his sunglasses on and put his baseball hat on before going in the store. He walked up to the electronic ordering kiosk and placed his order. He even used his fake name.
As he waited he texted his friends to see what they were up to. Most of them were working and (Y/n) finally got to gloat and say he had a day off.
"Order for Lil Timmy Tim!" An employee shouted out. (Y/n) grabbed his food and left the restaurant swiftly. He was most definitely an in car eater.
"Hey y'all." (Y/n) mumbled as he put his phone up on the front window. His live started sending many different messages. "This is just gonna be chill." He announced as he opened up his bag of food.
"For lunch today I'm having Taco Bell." He told the live and held up the bag. "First I got a chicken Crunchwrap supreme." He mumbled and took a bite.
As (Y/n) ate he tried his best to answer questions. "How are you and Jenna?" He read out loud. "We're good! She's working today and I'm not so she's not here right now. But we're good. Just going one day at a time." He shared.
By now (Y/n) had finished his Crunchwrap and moved onto his next item, one chicken burrito and one steak burrito.
"This is actually so fire." He commented as he bit into his steak burrito. "Um, next question. What is your next project?" He read out. "Okay. I can't say, but it's a show." He hinted.
The comments started going crazy and (Y/n) had figured out why. Jenna had joined the live. She probably was on a break and saw her boyfriend was live.
"Anyway, yeah. That's about it." He concluded. After another 10 minutes (Y/n) had finished his food and the live had ended.
(Y/n) drove around a bit just to stay out of the house. He eventually pulled over to get more gas and then went back home. By the time he got home, Jenna was back. He could tell because her car was parked in his spot of the parking garage.
"How was shooting?" (Y/n) asked as he walked into the apartment. "It was good! We got a lot done today, so hopefully I can take a day off soon." Jenna explained.
Both people changed into fancier clothes for dinner. Jenna had offered to drive to dinner since she knew (Y/n) was going to want to have a drink at dinner.
"Hey guys!" (Y/n) greeted as they arrived at their table. All of the Ortegas said their hellos and the couple sat down. On one side of (Y/n) was Jenna and on the other side was Aaliyah, one of Jenna's sisters.
"How's your family, (Y/n)?" Natalie, Jenna's mother asked. "They're good! They're in Italy right now on vacation." He shared. "That sounds fun!" Ed, Jenna's father, exclaimed.
"Yeah, they've sent us a few postcards." Jenna added. "They must have been there for a while now." Aaliyah concluded. (Y/n) nodded in agreement.
"Are you coming home for Christmas?" Natalie asked Jenna. Everyone's eyes turned to her for an answer. "I think so. We're going to his parent's house for thanksgiving so I'll probably be here for Christmas." Jenna answered and took (Y/n)'s hand under the table while he stuffed his face full of orange chicken.
"You're gonna choke!" Markus, Jenna's brother commented. (Y/n) shrugged as he continued eating. "I'm hungry." He excused the claim with a dismissive hand. "You literally spent a half hour on instagram live eating Taco Bell, how are you still hungry?" Aaliyah asked.
"I dunno." (Y/n) shrugged. "Well, he is like six three. He's big." Natalie chimed in. "Yeah! I'm big! I need to eat a lot! Thank you, Mrs. Ortega!" (Y/n) exclaimed, happy someone took his side. He put his fork down and offered a high five to Natalie, who smiled and high fived him. Jenna laughed and nestled into (Y/n)'s side as he continued eating with one hand and holding her hand with his other.
He moved onto his dumplings and devoured those in less than 5 minutes before going back to his chicken.
"This is why there are never leftovers." Jenna sighed as she stole a piece of chicken from his plate. (Y/n) offered his plate to her and let her take a few pieces before going back to eating.
After a little while, everyone got tired and (Y/n) grabbed the bill before anyone else could.
"Here." (Y/n) handed the check with his card in it before anyone could object. The waitress took the bill and (Y/n) smiled triumphantly.
"We could've paid." Ed objected. "But I got it. It was my treat." (Y/n) dismissed.
After the bill was paid everyone said their goodbyes and Jenna drove them home. Once they got back (Y/n) flopped into bed.
"Come cuddle with me." (Y/n) groaned as Jenna walked into the bathroom. "I will when you change into pajamas." She rebutted. "Fine." He grumbled and got back up.
After he was changed and ready for bed, (Y/n) flopped back into bed. "Now will you come cuddle with me?" (Y/n) asked and did his best puppy eyes. Jenna let out a laugh and got into bed. (Y/n) wrapped his arms around her and started to drift off to sleep to the comforting sound of her heartbeat.
"I love you." (Y/n) mumbled to Jenna as he started drifting off. "I love you too." Jenna mumbled back. Both of them fell asleep shortly after embraced in each others arms.
